We run three services and two regular Bible studies throughout the week. Below you'll find more information about each, and under the Upcoming Activities sidebar to the right, you'll find times and speaker details.
Our Worship Service is held every Sunday from 9:30 to 10:30am in an unstructured manner. During this time we seek to remember the saving work the Lord Jesus accomplished on the Cross by celebrating the Lord's Supper - the breaking of bread and sharing of wine - as he instructed (1 Corinthians 11:24-26).
The service is also spent in personal reflection, prayer and the sharing of hymns and thoughts from the Word of God. Any brother, particularly those who are spiritually gifted in public ministry of the Word, are encouraged to take part in audible worship. We seek to afford those brothers who are gifted in this way the opportunity to exercise this talent for public speaking.
After a morning tea break, we come together again from 11:00am in a more family-friendly format to sing hymns and choruses and provide an opportunity for our younger members to participate. Our Sunday School program is an integral part of this service; we offer a 2-5 yr old toddlers-to-kindy class, as well as catering for all primary and high school aged youth. Each class is fully supervised and lessons are grounded in Biblical principles.
While the children are enjoying their classes, parents and adults are welcome to stay to hear the Word preached by each week's guest speaker. See the Upcoming Activities sidebar (right) for details.
Run in a similar format to our Family Service (but without Sunday School), our Evening Service is perfect for those who can't make the earlier meetings, or who just want to continue worshipping and hearing the Word preached in the company of other believers. We're often privileged to host a range of guest speakers, topics, DVD screenings and activities such as sausage sizzles unique to this time slot, so don't miss out - we'd love to see you!
